The Sound of the West Virginia Line began as a mission to honor West Virginia county sheriffs, deputies, and the communities they serve.
That mission grew into a full 55-county tribute series, with original songs created for every West Virginia county sheriff's department.
This was never just about writing songs. It was about recognizing service, sacrifice, county pride, small towns, courthouse communities, back roads, and the people who hold the line in places that do not always get recognized.
Cecil Odell Music was built around real West Virginia stories. The 55-county sheriff tribute series is the foundation of that mission, and it continues to grow into music honoring fire departments, dispatchers, EMS, veterans, working families, and communities across the Mountain State.
The project is still moving forward, but completing all 55 county sheriff tributes will always be one of the milestones that shaped Cecil Odell Music.
