Cecil Odell Music independently supports first responders, veterans, and West Virginia communities through donations, fundraising projects, music, merchandise projects, community outreach, and other forms of assistance when possible.
Purchases from Cecil Odell Music are ordinary retail purchases and are not charitable contributions. Cecil Odell Music may separately make donations and provide community support from its own funds at its discretion.

Cecil Odell Music is working toward the long-term goal of building The Sound of the West Virginia Line First Responders Relief Fund, a future giveback effort intended to support first responders, veterans, and West Virginia families in need. Cecil Odell Music has received public support and validation from listeners, communities, departments, media features, radio play, and community organizations across West Virginia.
Songs are in rotation on The Thin Line Rock Station, a broadcast station dedicated to veterans and first responders. Cecil Odell Music has worked directly with departments including Tunnelton VFD, producing a fundraising album, designing their 2027 calendars, and donating a signed guitar to the department.
The response from miners, mining families, first responders, veterans, and West Virginia communities has been real and ongoing.
